Eratap Beach Resort

Absolute waterfront and lush vegetation all around—it doesn’t get much better than that! Eratap Beach Resort is the intimate retreat you’ve been searching for and it caters for all you could ever need. Spend your days in the sun and your nights hand-in-hand, strolling along the beach as the sun slowly sets. This exquisite resort is where you’ll find the true meaning of paradise!

About the Resort

Eratap Beach Resort is beautifully boutique. Surrounded by lush vegetation and with just 14 luxurious villas (6 with private pools), you can enjoy a truly tranquil escape and be treated like a VIP. Set on the most seaward peninsula of Eratap—an area of thriving natural environment on Efate Island, this unique resort practices responsible tourism, meaning that all materials used are sourced and produced locally, plus the resort actively employs locals. Eratap Beach Resort faces north-west, protecting guests from trade winds and allowing for year-round sunset views! Guests have access to 3 private beaches, lagoon waterways and offshore islands, plus multiple stretches of pristine white sand.

The beauty of the Eratap region is unrivaled, yet the resort is surprisingly close to the Port Vila. Drive for just 20-minutes to get to the nation’s bustling capital or an additional 10-minutes to reach the airport. If you’re content to just stay and enjoy the resort itself, however, you’ll find plenty to do. Start your days slowly in your spacious private villa. Complete with double French doors, a private deck and uninterrupted ocean views, this is the perfect place to just breathe in the fresh air and completely relax! When you’re ready, explore the resort. Swim, sunbake, paddle or enjoy the spa—no day will be like the one before, but every day will be perfect!

Why go to Eratap Beach Resort?

Things To Do

If you’re lose interest in water sports, tanning by the pool, wandering along the beach, snorkeling, dining and indulging at the day spa, Eratap Beach Resort offers a range of organised activities. You’ll never run out of things to do here! If you’ve tried and failed on your own, opt for a guided snorkeling or kayaking trip, or if land is more your thing, sign up for a hiking trip or a visit to one of the villages nearby. Here you can visit Old Man Danial’s house and go to Church on Sunday (a way of life there). Back at the resort, try out a cooking class with the Head Chef. Whatever takes your fancy, embrace it and learn all you can about the Eratap environment and the local people. The best bit? All of these activities are provided free of charge!

Simply beautiful! From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. Whether it was planning a picnic for two on a deserted island or arranging a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach the attention to details was second to none! The resort and accommodation itself was simply beautiful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eratap Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing escape to paradise.
