Vanuatu Golf

A hole-in-one island holiday

Golf is forever gaining popularity in Vanuatu and there are a handful of courses to try out. If you’re looking for a place to try to land a hole-in-one without losing the interest of the rest of your not-so-golf-mad family members, Vanuatu is the place for you! The size of Vanuatu alone make it perfect. No activity is too far away, so everyone will be kept happy! Spend your days on the green while your loved ones try out other experiences—whether they prefer to hike, snorkel, dive or tour, there’s something to keep them occupied while you practice your skills!

Where to golf in Vanuatu

Vanuatu’s premiere golf club is the Port Vila Golf & Country Club (PVGCC). Opened in 1983 and meeting Australian standards, this 18-hole course is entertaining and tricky. There are sand traps and astounding views to Hideaway Island Resort & Marine Sanctuary to distract you from your swing, so you can choose to really test yourself or simply enjoy the day!

The PVGCC is located outside of Mele on the way to the Cascades. It is easily accessible from most resorts the club is easily accessible, sitting just under 20-minutes outside of Port Vila’s main hub. The club operates with Australian handicapping. It is measured in metres and welcomes everyone. Limited club hire and caddies are available plus there is a clubhouse onsite for pre or post-game refreshments and evening meals. Special Ladies Days take place on Tuesdays and play on Saturdays is restricted to those with a registered handicap!
