The best resorts for Vanuatu water sports
Most of Vanuatu’s popular resorts are by the harbour, lagoon or ocean and offer prime access to a range of water sports. On Efate island, you can take you pick of spots, with resorts set on all 3 waterfront locations! Stay on Iririki Island Resort & Spa to access the beautiful Vila Bay. Kayak or catamaran away from the mainland and Port Vila for a day at Snorkeler’s Cove. This beautiful beach has activities and snacks for resort guests and is great for a day trip! Other pro-water sport Efate locations include Moorings Hotel Vanuatu (close to the harbour), Poppys On The Lagoon Resort (on the edge of the Erakor Lagoon) and Hideaway Island Resort & Marine Sanctuary (set in the middle of the wide-stretching Mele Bay).
Water sport opportunities abound around Vanuatu’s other main islands too. Take a 15-minute ferry from the mainland of Santo and stay at Aore Island Resort.
